In section one men, Wangaratta powered home with the final three rubbers to hold out Forrest Hill Cats.
Dan Smith, Matt Allen and Doug Smith each claimed singles wins, with Ben Tari best for Cats.
After a stutter at the beginning, Wodonga Bulldogs regained focus to take down Forrest Hill Eagles, with SPD Chill easy winners over SPD Hilfiger.
In the ladies, Wodonga Aces claimed a tightly contested match, including two tie breaks, to edge out Thurgoona Jade.
Abbey Quinlan finished with three sets with help from Jessica Knoth, Jenny Guy and Tessa Quinlan, with Lynda Davis best for Jade.
Kara Curphey and Maxine Quinlivan were sound in Forrest Hill's account of Wodonga Diamonds.
Terry McLean enjoyed a good day in Wodonga Raiders' salute over Forrest Hill Galahs in the pick of the section two encounters.

Zara Merritt led Uiver Park to a four sets to two victory over SPD Pink in the ladies, with Taf Mutape best for her side.
In the second match, Glenly weathered early trouble against SPD White before finishing with the points.
Scott Soulsby, Isaac Street and Ryan Johnston finished well in SPD Yellow's defeat of Lavington Phoenix in section four.
Jack Jankauskas, Daniel Sobolowski and Jeremy Sinclair all played a part in an entertaining contest.
Luke Filliponi was unbeaten in SPD Green's account of Wodonga Crows in another good battle.
Reece Filliponi and Lachlan Graham also contributed, with Eamon Fergus best for Crows.
Lachlan Brooksby helped Scots Gold to triumph over Thurgoona Lions, with Joel Cook and Shyam Kugathasan providing solid back up.
Elsewhere, SPD Gold, SPD Purple and Wodonga Lions were all victorious.
In section five, Michael Nakagawa was outstanding in Albury/Scots Cats' salute over Albury/Scots Eagles.
SPD Orange accounted for Albury/Scots Tigers, with Forrest Hill Swans and SPD Black also winners.
A decision on the Easter tournament will be made next week.
