The government and opposition will have 30 pairs for the sitting, which will only last one of two days, to ensure the numbers remain as low as possible during coronavirus concerns.
In a statement, Prime Minister Scott Morrison said only the required ministers, members and senators would attend the chambers.
"The Parliament will meet only to consider the legislation that will enact the stimulus package and any other immediate business," he said.
"We have agreed that it is critical that Parliament meet in order to provide this support to Australians as well as to consider other urgent legislation.
"Given the current circumstances, this sitting week will be different.
"We need to be conscious of protecting parliamentarians and their communities."

The ministers who will attend have not been revealed, including whether that will include Farrer MP Sussan Ley.
The decision on attendance from the crossbench has been left with individual MPs, and Indi's independent Dr Haines said she wants to be there.
"I'm very comfortable to go there because I want to speak on that bill. I want to make sure that the bushfire recovery work is not forgotten and I'll be highlighting that in my speech to the Parliament," she said.
"The intention is that it will be pretty quick - get this stimulus package passed and get out of there."
Dr Haines was in the King Valley yesterday talking to residents who were still feeling the effects of the bushfires, as coronavirus precautions were being rolled out.
All MPs will spread themselves out across the House of Representatives and Senate next week to ensure they have the recommended 1.5 metres between them.
"I really understand hand hygiene very well and I've been practising the 1.5-metre rule so I will do that," Dr Haines said.
She will only take one staff member with her to Canberra, rather than the whole team.
Other crossbench MPs will also attend Parliament.
