The first year of Hockey Albury-Wodonga's Tiger Moth come and try initiative was very well received at four centres - Albury, Wodonga, Corowa and Wangaratta.
HAW development director Doug Agar received plenty of positive feedback and was thrilled the results.

"We had 18 kids in at Albury and I handed out a form and everyone except for one said they're eager to go into our under-10s or under-12s program," Agar said.
"That's a pretty good retention rate, I think we'd take that every year.
"I've only been in the role for a couple of years, but seeing the clubs work together was really good.
"We had all Albury clubs represented and they were happy to help each other out to make it the best experience they could."
Agar said there were plenty of questions asked as to when the season will go ahead, having been postponed until May 1 at this stage due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
"It shows they're really eager to get into it," Agar said.
The program was particularly well received at Wangaratta, with Agar adding the club almost doubled the number of teams they can enter, largely because of the schools roadshow program conducted before the launch of the Tiger Moths.
"They (Wangaratta) are probably the biggest success story at the moment and Scots had 18 kids at theirs as well. For the first time in five or six years, Scots will be looking at having an under-10 team," he said.
