But part-owner Allan Endresz will still have plenty of interest in racing until his star galloper returns in the spring.
Endresz who races several horses with his uncle and aunt Jeff and Robyn Simpson are set to unleash another well-bred debutante on the Sunshine Coast on Wednesday.
Allez Zou is similar to Alligator Blood in that he was purchased at the Gold Coast Magic Millions sales and wears the same colours as the Australian Guineas winner.
The two-year-old gelding is a son of Zoustar who is regarded as the hottest young sire in Australia.

Allez Zou is trained on the Sunshine Coast by Natalie McCall and will be ridden by Stephanie Thornton.
"He's got the beautiful Zoustar bloodline and we have got high expectations of the horse," Endresz said.
While it has been well documented that Alligator Blood is a poker term that refers to a player that is tenacious and resilient.
Endresz revealed he also put a lot of thought into the naming of Allez Zou.
"Our horse breaker John Robbins suggested he is a bit of a show pony but boasts plenty of talent," Endresz said.
"He said we should name the horse after Prince Naseem who was a champion boxer in England in the 1990s.
"We couldn't get the name but he won 36 of 37 fights and was a real show pony in the ring.
"His favourite saying was 'c'mon lets get going' - which is exactly what Allez Zou means in French.
"It's probably quite appropriate in the environment we are in at the moment with coronavirus - c'mon lets get going."
Allez Zou is set to contest the $21,000 2YO Maiden Hcp, (1000m) which is set to start at 2.18pm.
