The Catholic Diocese of Sandhurst said no child would have to leave a school in the region due to financial hardship.
Bishop Shane Mackinlay said the schools, parishes and families were united during the pandemic.
"The community can be reassured that no child is ever expected to leave a Catholic school, primary or secondary, as a result of a family's incapacity to pay," he said.

"We recognise that these are extraordinary times and people are experiencing high levels of confusion and disruption, with many having lost their employment or receiving diminished income due to the coronavirus crisis."
The diocese runs schools in areas including Wodonga, Wangaratta, Yarrawonga, Benalla and Myrtleford.
Bishop Mackinlay said in most circumstances, families wouldn't know their fees had been reduced.
