A CFA spokesman said the shed, which measured about 18 metres by 8 metres, was fully alight when crews arrived after receiving the call-out at 4.25am.
Small piles of rubbish nearby were burning but no other buildings were under threat and the fire was brought under control by 5.38am.
Firefighters from Cobram, Yarroweyah, Muckatah, Katamatite, Strathmerton and Katunga fought the blaze.
"Some of them though remain on scene due to some hot spots, making sure of no flare-ups," the spokesman said.
