The court heard after his arrest, Hamilton said "you f---ing b---- ... you wait til I get out".
Hamilton had been in Junee jail following his arrest, with concerns during an earlier application that he couldn't give an address to be bailed to.
The court heard he could now stay at his mother's home in Glenrowan.
Concerns were also raised about possible delays to the case due to coronavirus.
Mr Funston said the safety of victims was still fundamental despite the pandemic, but believed the risks could be mitigating through strict bail.
"This is a very important bail for you," he told Hamilton.
"What you do between now and the next court date ... is going to be of critical importance to you."
