Kieran James Hindle was allegedly in a stolen Ford Falcon utility when he came to police attention last Thursday night.
It's alleged the 31-year-old drove the vehicle, which had false plates, at high speed in a dangerous manner and failed to stop.
Charges allege he was disqualified at the time.
The vehicle crashed on Kaitlers Road, at the intersection of Kemp Street, causing extensive damage to the traffic lights and the stolen utility.

The damaged pole and traffic lights had to be replaced.
He was refused bail in Wagga court last Friday and returned to Albury Local Court on Tuesday.

He will return to court on May 4 for further mention.
The utility was allegedly stolen in Victoria last month and had false plates attached.
