The radical proposal could see the ground split into four or five sections to help with social distancing.
League operations manager Shane Railton said the idea had merit but ultimately the league would adhere to government guidelines.
It could be a proposal to get around it (coronavirus restrictions) while keeping people isolated
- Shane Railton
"There is a possibility that people who attend matches are only allowed in certain areas so you can keep that restriction type scenario," Railton said.
"It has been discussed that when the restrictions are eased that gatherings of up to 100 people will be permissible.
"So does that mean you can have four or five different sections in your crowd?
"You could have home side footballers, away side footballers, home side netballers and away side netballers.
"So you might fence the ground off into four different sections.
"We have certainly considered it and is something I have toyed around with and how it could look.
"It is just something that if crowd numbers are the issue preventing football going ahead, it could be a proposal to get around it while keeping people isolated."

Railton said the league was planning to play a 13 round season plus a five week finals series which comprises a top-eight, if and when the coronavirus ban is lifted.
"We have contacted all our clubs and have got a really good understanding of what they want," he said.
"All the clubs are keen to play and we have now progressed to making a 13 round draw where everybody plays each other once and has a bye.
"We have also got half our sides that are on cricket grounds so discussed the options there and how we would like to structure the finals.
"We are confident we will get to play a 13 round season plus finals."
