That comes with the setting of a date for a case conference detailing what the NSW Director of Public Prosecutions would take to trial.
Thurgoona's Connor Tristian Thorn-Barnstable, 22, appeared in Albury Local Court this week via a video link to Long Bay jail in Sydney.
IN OTHER NEWS:
He had previously appeared from Parklea Correctional Centre, where he was taken after his arrest on October 16.
Thorn-Barnstable, a formerly heavy-set man now noticeably thinner since his arrest, is accused of running a "sophisticated drug supply business".
Police alleged he was in possession of 150 MDMA, or "ecstasy", pills on his arrest, along with more than $50,000 in cash (pictured).
"We are in a position to proceed to case conference stage," DPP representative Mary-Beth McFarlane told magistrate Richard Funston, via a video link to Wagga.
This will take place on Thursday.
Thorn-Barnstable has been charged with possess an unregistered firearm or pistol, not keep a firearm or pistol safely, possess ammunition without a permit or licence, dealing with the proceeds of crime, four counts of possess or use a prohibited weapon without a permit, supply cannabis at less than an indictable or commercial quantity, three counts of supply a prohibited drug and five counts of possess prohibited drugs.
Thorn-Barnstable's alleged drug supply activities were uncovered during a police search of his Thurgoona home that only took place in the wake of an alleged home invasion at the property.
More than 80 items were seized, including drugs, mobile phones, computers, a firearm and a large number of prohibited gel blasters and the cash.
Thorn-Barnstable made an unsuccessful application for bail in mid-January.
In knocking this back, Mr Funston pointed out the likelihood of full-time jail on conviction plus concern about the commission of further serious offences.
The case was adjourned to June 23.
