The owner/operator of La Moka Cafe at La Trobe University in Wodonga has returned to the commercial kitchen to offer a takeaway menu for nearby customers.
Having closed the cafe eight weeks ago in line with COVID-19 public health orders, van Zanden will devise a weekly menu for pickup or delivery to Wodonga, Baranduda and Killara residents.
Van Zanden said the menu would appear on the Cookaborough online ordering platform.
"I specialise in all dietary requirements," she said.
"I don't use additives or preservatives and all of our food is made from scratch; it's comfort food that's healthier for you.
"For example I've been making a beef ragu with homemade pappardelle; the pasta has only two ingredients and there's no added oils or saturated fats.
"The desserts include natural or unrefined sugars like coconut blossom sugar."

Also studying a Bachelor of Food and Nutrition online herself, van Zanden is renowned for her wholesome and tasty dishes.
She trained under Moran at his Aria Restaurant in Brisbane.
"La Moka's ethos is to make as much from scratch as possible and cater to the various dietary requirements," van Zanden said.
La Moka @ Home will run a weekly menu that will be emailed on Friday and close Monday night with pick-up and deliveries on Wednesday and Friday.
This week's menu only will be released on Wednesday (discounts apply for new customers).
