The Storm trained for the first time at Albury Sportsground on Wednesday since the season was postponed after round two in late March due to the coronavirus.
The perennial finalists are considered one of the league's most professional outfits and Felise Kaufusi was asked if that will stand the club in strong stead, ahead of the planned May 28 playing return.
"I don't know about there being an advantage, Craig's a grumpy old .... he's just whipping the horse, he's just making sure we were all doing our bit in that six-week break," Kaufusi said after just reactivating a contract extension until the end of 20021.
"He's going to be watching, just that fear factor, I reckon."
Tough forward Dale Finucane admits the supercoach is intimidating.
"There's definitely that fear factor, obviously Craig's got a high expectation," he said.

The Storm was forced to move grounds after the council voted 5-4 to not allow the club to use council-owned Greenfield Park.
"In terms of the councillors and the politics behind it, it's probably not something that I'm across," Finucane said.
