On Monday, Matthew Pantling, 22, made his second appearance before the Wagga Local Court in just three days, with charges adjourned to a committal mention on July 14.
He was refused bail on Monday by Wagga magistrate Daniel Covington
Police have alleged that Pantling had sex with the girl on several occasions in his home.

Further, he stands accused of harassing her "to send sexually explicit images of herself to him".
Pantling's arrest resulted from an ongoing investigation by specialist police.
Detectives from the Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad had initiated an investigation into the man after being informed of reports connected to the teenage girl.
That investigation got under way just last week, on Wednesday.
Two days later, they stepped-up their investigation and attended Pantling's North Albury home.
NSW Police media said he was promptly arrested after police attended the home on Friday about 8.10am.
Detectives armed with a warrant were then able to search the property, where they also seized a mobile phone and a gel blaster gun.
Police said that after Pantling was arrested he was taken to the Albury police station, where he was charged.
Pantling faces three counts of sexual intercourse with a child aged between 10 and 16, a charge of using a child for the purpose of producing child abuse material and a further charge, in relation to the gel gun, of possessing an unauthorised prohibited firearm.
He was denied police bail and remanded in custody to front the Wagga court on Saturday, when the charges were further adjourned to Monday.
The media spokesman said the Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad was comprised of detectives "specially trained to investigate matters against children and adults".
These included incidents such as sexual assault, serious physical abuse and extreme cases of neglect.
