There was good news from Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews on Monday when he announced a series of restrictions to be lifted from Wednesday, including long awaited home visits.

It comes after NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian made her own announcement on Sunday.
People living in both states will be able to have five adults in their home and 10 people meeting up outside, but that move will be allowed in Victoria from Wednesday ahead of NSW on Friday.
Mr Andrews said community centres - which hold meetings such as counselling, Alcoholics Anonymous and parents' groups - will be allowed to have up to 10 people inside with appropriate social distancing.
He said there was no limit how far people can travel, but they cannot stay overnight and camping will still be banned for now.

"We have to recognise this is far from over, we have to recognise an opportunity for a step that is safe and cautious," he said.
But NSW has gone a step further by allowing restaurants and cafes to have up to 10 patrons at a time from Friday, while ensuring they maintain social distancing of 1.5 metres between people and four square metres space per person.
Both states will allow a total of 10 guests at weddings, up to 20 people at indoor funerals and up to 30 at outdoor funerals, religious gatherings of up to 10 worshippers.
The premiers have asked people to continue to working from home where possible.
