An interim apprehended violence order for the complainant in a case of alleged child sexual abuse in North Albury has just been granted.

Albury Local Court magistrate Richard Funston agreed to the interim order late on Tuesday morning on an application made by police.
The interim order against Matthew Pantling was then adjourned to July 14, the same date as a committal mention of his related criminal charges.

Pantling, 22, is charged with three counts of sexual intercourse with a child aged between 10 and 16, a charge of using a child for the purpose of producing child abuse material and one possessing an unauthorised prohibited firearm.
The regional bail court at Wagga Local Court was told on Monday that it had been alleged that Pantling had sex with the 15-year-old girl on several occasions at his North Albury home.
Pantling is also accused of harassing the teenager "to send sexually explicit images of herself to him".
In response to a question on Tuesday from Mr Funston, defence lawyer Dominic Holles - who represented Pantling in Wagga on Monday - said his client was being held in Junee jail bail refused.
The order includes conditions that Panting not go within 50 metres of the girl, of where she lives or where she attends school.
