Emergency services were called to a crash between a light truck and a car on the corner of Catherine Cresent and Dallinger Road around 9am.
The driver of the truck was trapped and rescue squads were called to assist with the extraction.
Albury and Border Rescue Squad said they were activated to assist with an extraction after a motor vehicle accident.
"With the assistance of Fire and Rescue NSW we were able to safely stretch the cab of the truck to free the patient," the squad posted on their Facebook page.
"Another great example of many agencies working together."
Fire and Rescue NSW Superintendent Stewart Alexander said paramedics treated the driver at the scene.
"Ops were completed with oil spillage cleaned up," he said.
EARLIER: Emergency services are working to rescue a person trapped after a car and truck crashed in Lavington this morning.
The collision happened around 9.30am on the corner of Catherine Cresent and Dallinger Road, Lavington.
Fire and Rescue NSW Superintendent Stewart Alexander warned motorists to avoid the area.
