Myer announced that given the success of seven trial stores over the weekend, eight more would resume trade.
Wagga's Myer was among the other stores reopening with enhanced safety and cleaning measures, including sneeze guards, contact-less payments and the monitoring of customer numbers in store.
The last day of trading for the Albury store was March 29.
It is unclear how many of the store's 70-odd employees remained working during the closure, or how many will return to work.
Myer Albury store manager Chris Boneham said in a statement "the whole Myer Albury team are really excited to be opening the store".
In the week that Myer Albury closed, there were new cases of COVID-19 being detected across the Murrumbidgee Local Health District daily, with six active cases in Albury.
Many chains closed their shopfronts in Myer Centrepoint.
But some retailers continued on, altering operations to abide with public health orders.
The Valentine's Artisan Sourdough Bakers store in the centre was one of them.
Kay Perry, who runs Valentine's stores with her family, said at times, it was very quiet with few stores open.
"We decided as a group that we would retain trading throughout this period of time, baking bread and roasting and making coffee, even though we realised we would have a great decline in sales," she said.
"Our Myer store did have the greatest downturn - throughout the month of April it was probably down 70 per cent.
"On many days we wondered why we were open, but we've got some really good staff who we wanted to keep with us.
"Of course, we kept on with the correct protocols and it was takeaway only."
Mrs Perry expects trade to pick up with Myer's reopening and is working through options for seating, as cafes can have 10 patrons dine in at a time from today.
"We're thrilled," she said.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"We haven't got a great deal of floor space, so I'm going to work out how many seats we can put in the space - if we can get 10, that's well and good, or we might only get six.
"We'll keep with the takeaway containers only, just to reduce contamination with cups and cutlery.
"It's really about the elderly people - they've gone shopping and they just want to sit and have a coffee."
Many retailers have resumed trading at Myer Centrepoint in recent weeks in line with the lifting of government restrictions.
