A very detailed letter was sent when changes were to be implemented coming north over the Gap. This was a long time coming and sorely needed, but the following changes have been made without consultation with residents (ratepayers).
The right-hand turning lane and no stopping signs placed on Tenbrink from Ryan Road to Hodge Street heading into Albury - no consultation. I found out by asking a road worker doing the road markings, (which they did twice) before Christmas and contacted the council.
A traffic section employee came out to see me after I voiced my concern. Still he did not advise consultation would be made. He actually said "it was all trial and error at the moment and nothing had been decided."
I then wrote a letter to Council voicing my concerns. It would appear this has progressed even further, still without consultation.
But these options do not appear to be considered or ratepayers who actually live there, consulted. Is this a democratic process?

Leave green space alone
I am amazed that Albury City Council is even contemplating putting another museum incorporating the Bellbridge Hague premises and what is left of the St Matthew's precinct in the central block of the city.
To encroach further on what is a tranquil green space in the centre of our town is sacrilege. Why does every 'big thing' need to be in the middle of town? The appropriate location for an "Uiver" commemorative exhibition is in the vicinity of the airport.
Two years ago I had the pleasure of visiting with my 14-year-old grandson the Hinkler Hall of Aviation, north of the CBD in Bundaberg and we spent quite some time there enjoying what it has to offer. Parking was not an issue. If we had had more time we may have also visited other museums.
We have a city-centric council which approves the removal of anything of historical or heritage interest - just look what happened to the old Burrows mill. They cannot see beyond the railway line, North and Hume streets and the ridge of Nail Can Hill.
