A Lavington man who with two others broke into work vans and stole tools has been committed for sentence in the District Court.

Telverne Williams, 30, of Jackling Drive, has pleaded guilty to three counts of dishonestly obtain a financial advantage by deception and three of larceny.
He has appeared in Albury Local Court via a video link to the Mid North Coast Correctional Centre at West Kempsey.

Defence lawyer Dave Barron asked magistrate Richard Funston to adjourn the matters for mention before the District Court on Monday for the setting of a sentencing date.
He also asked that a sentence assessment report be prepared on unrelated matters set to be finalised in the Local Court on July 7.
An agreed set of facts on the deception and larceny charges outlined how Williams and two co-offenders broke into a Nissan Navara ute, registered to a plumbing business, parked outside a home in Lea Court, Lavington, on August 24 about 10pm.
Several tools plus the victim's wallet containing a debit card were taken.
More tools plus an Apple iPad were stolen from a van parked in the driveway of a house in the same court soon after.
About midnight, a car's window was smashed in Carstens Street and another wallet and debit card were taken.
The cards were used to make minor purchases, with some declined, at two Wodonga service stations.
Williams was arrested in Albury on August 30.
