However, to see clubs back out on the field approval must first be granted by Albury, Wodonga, Corowa and Wangaratta councils.
It comes after an easing of COVID-19 social distancing restrictions on both sides of the Border now allowing groups of up to 10 to train outdoors.
HAW sports operation manager Cayte Campbell said if given the green light clubs could be back training as of this Saturday.

The association will have to follow the training protocols of both Hockey Victoria and Hockey NSW with teams falling either side of the Border.
The 2020 Hockey Albury-Wodonga season is still on hold at this stage.
