GREATER Western Sydney coach Alan McConnell has lauded Alyce Parker's work ethic after the Holbrook star took out the club's best and fairest.
McConnell stormed home in the second half of the season to win with 61 votes, six clear of Elle Bennetts.
"It's a brilliant achievement for Alyce to win this award in just her second season and at just 19-years-old," McConnell said.
"She's part of the next generation of female footballers in our state, and the country, who have benefited from the pathways due to the growth of female football and the opportunities presented by having an elite competition.
"Alyce is a brilliantly talented footballer but this club champion award is borne from hard work and dedication.
"She took an enormous amount of learning from her debut season and came back to the club knowing what it took to become an elite player."
Parker averaged 21 disposals in seven games.
