Rodney Joseph Minogue's decision to finally plead guilty to the burglaries comes a year after he was first charged.
The South Albury machine operator, 54, had been facing several sets of break-in related charges that he intended to contest at hearings.
He was further remanded in custody to appear before the District Court in Albury on July 27, when his sentencing matter will be mentioned before Judge Sean Grant.
Twelve months ago, Minogue was arrested over break-in allegations on arriving at Albury Local Court to answer a single charge of driving with an illicit drug in his system.
Defence lawyer Richard Cummins, appearing via a video link to Sydney, told magistrate Richard Funston this week that Minogue would be pleading guilty to two counts of break, enter and steal and one of dispose of stolen property, a charge of break and enter with intent to steal and an unrelated break and enter house and steal.
The court heard that Minogue had a "significant Victorian criminal history" for offences including supplying prohibited drugs, aggravated break and enter, larceny, make false statement and assault.

DNA found on an opened can of soft drink in a Yambla Avenue house resulted in Minogue's arrest for stealing a $900 men's gold bracelet, a $500 gold wedding ring and a $400 handbag in late March, 2019.
A stolen property charge stems from two months earlier when Minogue off-loaded a range of items included a Ford Focus, gaming consoles, an album of Pokemon cards and a clothes basket.
Minogue broke into a Treecreeper Street, Thurgoona, home two days earlier, on January 29, and stole items including 200 DVDs and "several alcoholic drinks".
A few days earlier he broke into Clancy's Food Store in Smollett Street, Albury, but nothing was taken.
Director of Public Prosecutions representative Alexander Dixon said Minogue, who was in Bathurst jail, would appear in the District Court for his sentencing.
"There are also a number of other matters (involving Minogue) before the District Court," he said.
Minogue is the younger brother of Russell Street bomber Craig William Minogue, who is serving a life sentence for the incident that killed Constable Angela Taylor and injured 21 others.
Rodney Minogue was acquitted on appeal for being an accessory, after three years in jail.
