Lawrence Francis Gonzales, 33, has had half a dozen solicitors represent him in the past 10 months.
"It is absolutely ridiculous that you don't stick with a lawyer," Albury Local Court magistrate Richard Funston told Gonzales.

Gonzales was represented by Wagga solicitor Dominic Holles this week.
That was on charges of supply a prohibited drug at not less than a commercial quantity and possess a prohibited drug.
"I don't even have a facts sheet," Mr Holles said.
But he assured the court that he would continue to represent Gonzales as Legal Aid funding for his defence was to be approved.
The case was adjourned to June 30.
