McGrath Estate Agents has announced an Albury office in Olive Street, formerly Zelle Real Estate, with the Zelle leaders Gabrielle Douglas and Philip Bell now principals of the new franchise.
The team of 12 includes a property management division with a rent roll of more than 550 properties while the sales team, which includes agent Sue Moss, has collectively 100 years' experience in real estate.
McGrath founder and executive director John McGrath said the move reflected the company's intent to increase its presence in regional NSW and Victoria.
Mr McGrath said the Border had excellent growth potential as people made lifestyle property decisions after the COVID-19 pandemic and the option to work remotely and possibly commute became more widely accepted.

"Population growth, local economies, improved amenities and affordable housing will continue to positively impact these areas," he said.
Head of franchise network Christopher Mourd said Albury-Wodonga's location and facilities represented an "exceptional opportunity ... with busy manufacturing, commercial and business centres that provide a healthy employment sector".
Mr Bell said agents were seeing more interest from outside investors.
"Our part of the world offers a diverse selection of real estate that ranges from cosmopolitan city living to rural lifestyle properties, all within easy access to areas offering wine, food, snow or camping and fishing," he said.
