Galah Bar On Air will be an online, multi-venue variety night show on Friday, June 26.
Border arts and cultural venues paused their 2020 seasons in March to try to help stop the spread of the coronavirus pandemic.
Theatres and entertainment arenas nationwide closed in line with state public health orders.
HotHouse Theatre general manager Michael Huxley said Border performing artists had teamed up to collaborate on a community event during the COVID-19 lockdown.
He said an informal online gathering of Border artists, venues and producers started meeting each fortnight in a Cultural Industry Round Table, to work out how to keep the performing arts alive during the shutdown.
"One of the outcomes of this group was a desire to collaborate, and now eight cultural institutions and organisations in Albury-Wodonga are partnering to present a night of entertainment," he said.
"The venues have worked together before but this is the first time we're presenting a show together publically."
Galah Bar On Air is an online version produced by HotHouse Theatre with support from Murray Arts and Nomad Films.
It will live stream from multiple Border locations comprising Albury Entertainment Centre, Albury LibraryMuseum, The Cube Wodonga, Flying Fruit Fly Circus and Murray Art Museum Albury (MAMA).
