Star Of Tennessee broke through for her first career win in only her second start in the $20,000 Maiden Hcp, (900m) with Blaike McDougall aboard.
Despite having a tendency to over-race, the daughter of Starspangledbanner justified her $1.30-favouritism with an effortless win.
McDougall had five-lengths to spare over his nearest rival in Something Fancy ($13).
Scott said Star Of Tennessee was an immature filly and would only get better with race experience.
"She is still learning the caper but judging on that performance hopefully she can go on with it now," Scott said.
"She is only a tiny little thing but she just tries her heart out.
"She was still a little bit wayward down the straight but hopefully she keeps learning and we can have a bit of fun with her."

Star Of Tennessee was narrowly beaten on debut by the Trevor Sutherland-trained Demanding Mo at Wagga in February.
In a strong form pointer, Demanding Mo won the Albury Guineas on Gold Cup day in March.
Scott said she would most likely step Star Of Tennessee up in distance at her next start.
"We will step her out over 1000m next start," she said.
"We were keen to run her in Victoria because she is Vobis qualified but we couldn't find anything suitable so we opted for Albury.
"I think there is a lot of upside to her even though she is only a slight filly."
Scott made it a winning double after Hazel's Diary broke through for her first win this preparation with Kayla Nisbet aboard.
McDougall also notched a double after he partnered the Danny Williams-trained Petaluma ($2.80-fav) to victory.
Meanwhile the Heath Maclean-trained Macgyver's Me Mate made it back-to-back Albury victories.
Ridden by Brodie Loy, Macgyver's Me Mate ($4.80) scored an all-the-way victory in the $20,000 Class 1 Hcp, (1400m).
Maclean said his equine giant was always going to prove hard to beat once he found the front from a wide barrier.
"Pre-race I thought we were a huge chance to find the front and that's exactly how the race panned out," Maclean said.
"Brodie is a clever jockey and once he found the front he stacked-up them up.
"The favourite (Gunzar) looked to be travelling when he loomed up at the 200m mark but my horse is such a tough bugger.
"A lot of other horses would have given up but my horse doesn't know how to surrender and shows a lot of fight and has a strong will-to-win."
Corowa trainer Geoff Duryea also extended the stables recent hot form after Straover ($2-fav) unleashed a powerful finishing burst from well back in the field.
Ridden by Jordan Mallyon, Straover broke through for a deserved victory in the $20,000 Benchmark 66 Hcp, (1175m) after finishing runner-up at his past two starts.
