An Albury magistrate has expressed his concern as police seek to take out intervention orders against two primary school aged boys.

Police are seeking apprehended domestic violence orders against the brothers, aged 10 and 11.
Albury Childrens Court recently heard the application stemmed from a serious incident involving their female cousin.
But magistrate Richard Funston appeared shocked that the pair had been brought before him, given their age.
"I'm not going to be making any orders today against a 10 and 11-year-old," he said.
"This is not the way a matter like this, in my view, should be handled.
"This is no place for a 10-year-old and an 11-year-old."

Mr Funston repeatedly noted the pair's youth as he pushed back against the police application.
The court heard the matter involved serious allegations, which were not aired in court.
One of the boys looked at the floor for most of the hearing, wriggling in his chair.
Both looked disengaged.
The pair's mother attended, along with a staff member from their primary school in the Albury area.
Mr Funston urged police to withdraw the application, which is in place on a provisional basis.
"I can't say it any clearer than that," he said.
He excused the young pair from attending when the matter is next heard on July 7.
"If there was ever a repeat performance of that, you would be in trouble," he said of the incident and warned them not to harm their cousin in any way.
