The former Flying Fruit Flys have returned to where it all began to take part in an online Border show tonight.
Galah Bar On Air will see local performers assemble across six Border venues to showcase their talents, with viewers set to take it all in from the comfort of their homes.
The teeterboard duo will be joined by friend and fellow Cirque Du Soleil performer Will Meager for their act at the Flying Fruit Fly Circus.
With the COVID-19 pandemic halting McKoy's European tour and Ayton's Vegas shows with the renowned circus company, Wodonga product McKoy said it was great to be able to find an alternative way of performing.
"It hasn't been done around here before," McKoy said.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"Seeing as the arts have taken a hit from the coronavirus, we are all struggling.
"We can't have audiences, so it's a great opportunity to have a live show.
"It's cool to have teamed up because we (Ayton and Meager) are all from the Cirque Du Soleil but from different shows. Now we're making our own act.
"We're making the best out of the situation."
McKoy and Ayton have maintained their training regimes while home on the Border after setting up facilities in the backyard.
McKoy said it's still unknown when they will be able to return overseas, but he is hoping to be back for 2021.
"We obviously aren't going back for a long time and we don't want to stop doing what we've been training for our whole lives," he said.
"We don't want to stop performing, so this has been great.
"We're keeping busy doing these little gigs."
The show will also be livestreamed from Albury's Entertainment Centre, LibraryMuseum and Murray Art Museum (MAMA), as well as The Cube in Wodonga.
Galah Bar On Air is set to feature not only circus performers but will also provide comedic relief and indie music.
The online show is produced by HotHouse Theatre with support from Murray Arts and Nomad Films.
Tickets are available online via the Albury HotHouse Theatre website.
