Also, about 4800 thermometers are on their way to holiday locations as part of the Victorian Government's efforts to slow the COVID-19 spread after a run of high case numbers in the state this week.
Accommodation providers with communal facilities such as caravan parks will be given priority access to thermometers which will allow business owners to take a guest's temperature on check-in.

The themometers, which are listed on the Australian Register of Theraputic Goods, are being provided to councils with the high country and alps among the focus areas.
Accommodation providers are also encouraged to contact guests 24 hours before arrival to ask them to complete a self-assessment for coronavirus symptoms before their departure.
Albury Wodonga Health also issued a warning to residents to be on guard for COVID-19 in the school holidays.
"We've been doing this for some months now and I think a level of complacency may (creep) in," pandemic response director Sally Squire said.
"But this is the time we need to all pull together and we need to really abide by those community guidelines."
Meanwhile, North-East residents were assured this week by federal health minister Greg Hunt the border between Victoria and NSW wouldn't be closed.
The confirmation was given during the Indi virtual town hall meeting in which 4500 people participated in and almost 140 live questions were asked.
Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews' potential easing of restrictions in regional areas was also discussed.
