Three people were in the car at the time of the crash.
Two managed to free themselves before emergency services responded but the third person was trapped with possible spinal injuries.
Bright SES extricated the patient from the car with assistance from Mt Beauty Fire Brigade.
IN OTHER NEWS:
A high angle rescue team comprising of CFA members from Wangaratta, Wodonga, Mount Beauty and Bright SES moved the injured person up the hill.
The patient was taken to Wangaratta Hospital.
