The unnamed winner said she didn't believe her eyes when she checked her ticket and saw she'd won the division one prize.
Speaking to an official from the Lott this morning, the disbelieving winner explained she was only just beginning to believe she had won.
"I think I know why you are calling," she admitted when answering her phone.
"I checked my ticket late on Saturday night and screamed for my daughter to come and double-check it for me.
"I thought for sure it had to be a hoax. I just didn't believe it could be real."
The woman said she buys a QuickPick ticket every week.

When asked how she planned to enjoy her windfall, the woman confessed it would allow her to fulfil a long-held dream of building a new home.
"I've never owned my own home and I've worked hard all my life," she said.
"I have always dreamt of building my own home and giving my kids something. It's hard to believe that that dream will come true now. I can't wait to get started on the build. It's going to be fun!"
