The club informed the league of its decision on the weekend reducing the competition to 12 clubs.
The remaining clubs were set to meet with the league on Monday night.
The main agenda on the meeting was to discuss whether the season will still proceed in the wake of most other competitions including the Ovens and Murray and Goulburn Valley cancelling their seasons last week.
"We've had a bit of feedback from clubs in regards to the season going ahead and we will discuss what they want to do and what they don't want to do," league operations manager Shane Railton said.
