It comes after the Tallangatta and District Netball Association announced last week there would be no senior season for 2020.
Albury Netball Association has been seeking expressions of interest for a Monday night competition, set to commence from August if achievable under COVID-19 guidelines.
Evans admitted the competition may be an enticing option for netballers unable to play for their clubs this year.

The Ovens and Murray league has also taken a hit due to growing coronavirus fears.
"I think there will be interest in that," Evans said.
"People have missed their netball."
The 2019 A-grade premiership coach agreed with the league's ruling to pull the pin on the senior season.
"I think at the end of the day it was the right call, particularly with what has happened in Victoria in the last week or so," she said.
"To kick a season off in the middle of the depths of winter when it's cold and dark and start almost another pre-season at that point would be very challenging from a motivation and fitness perspective."
While the concept of a stand alone netball competition had been floated by the TDNA, Evans said it would have removed the family element that the league prides itself on.
"That's what country footy and netball is based on I think, families and that involvement," she said.
