Wodonga Raiders pair Jydon Neagle and Steve Jolliffe have signed with Riverina league club Collingullie Glenfield Park.
The pair told Raiders teammates on Tuesday night they would be joining Jolliffe's home club on permit before returning to Birallee Park for the 2021 season.
Jolliffe admitted Collingullie Glenfield Park officials were ecstatic when he told them he could bring arguably the Ovens and Murray's best player.
"The club asked if I could bring anyone back with me and when I said Jydon they were pretty happy," Jolliffe said.
"It will be good for him to come and have a run around in a country league.
"He's from Walla and a country lad so he'll like it.
"Like me, he's pretty keen on playing some footy.
"He will probably have a few standards to meet because I'd say he will be the best player in the league."
Lavington's Nick Perryman is also set to return to Collingullie Glenfield Park after the Ovens and Murray abandoned its season last week due to coronavirus.

Wodonga forward Tom Johnson has applied to join Osborne with the Tigers chasing entry into the Riverina league for a season.
Jolliffe, who played in two premierships for Collingullie Glenfield Park as a youngster, said it would be a strange feeling crossing paths with many Ovens and Murray players in the Riverina league.
"We should shape up well but nobody really knows I guess with all the players who are going to Riverina league clubs," Jolliffe said.
"It sounds like there will be a lot of familiar faces.
"I think everyone just wants to play and I know I jumped at the chance to play at home again for the rest of the season."
