Daly, who has ties with the Farrer league club through former Tiger premiership teammate Tom Yates, will only commit if clear of junior commitments at Albury.
There is still a chance of football for the Ovens and Murray's under 18s with a league meeting to determine whether it will be played on Saturday or Sundays.

"I'd love to play but will see what happens with the junior footy at Albury first," Daly said.
"Hopefully it works out as it would be good fun."
Meanwhile, the wave of Lavington players to apply for permits has continued with Grange McMahon, Sam Hargreave, Jack Kirley and Stephen Leitch set to play in Canberra.
Panther Chris Annett has aligned himself with North Wagga along with Lachie Gaffney.
Wangaratta big-man Zac Leitch is seeking a permit to play in Adelaide.
