Up The Creek, a 53.7 hectare property at Gundowring, was snapped up by a North-East buyer for $1,012.500 in the latest online auction conducted by agents, Corcoran Parker.
Brendan and Sarah Glass have owned the property near Dederang and Mount Beauty for five years.
There were 10 registered buyers for the sale with six fighting out the sale which took almost 90 minutes to complete with more than 70 bids taken.
The property comfortably exceeded the reserve of $875,000.
"The buyers love it," Corcoran Parker agent Mike Weller said.
"They love to be able to sit at home, the time they have got to make decisions is more than sufficient and they don't feel confronted in any way standing at a public auction."

Corcoran Parker hasn't conducted a rural property auction onsite since the coronavirus pandemic began in March.
In another bumper result, the property sold for more than $7600 per acre.
"All we can do as agents is advertise, maximise the reach, maximise the exposure, maximise the interest, generate competition," Mr Weller said.
"Then the market will tell you what it is worth.
"But the rural market is very strong at the moment and we've got a list of buyers as long as my arm.
"Everything we've got now is either under offer, under contract or sold."
The sale had three active buyers.
Another property set to be sold on the online platform at Bowna was sold before the auction.
The successful purchaser of the Gundowring property wanted to keep their identity under wraps.
"They are local to North-East Victoria, but not local to the Kiewa Valley," he said.
The property is located in a high rainfall area of 950mm per year and is presently used for livestock grazing and pasture production purposes by its owners.
The Kiewa River is about 1km away, but the property which is mostly cleared, has six permanent dams.
The Kiewa Valley has been a rural property hotspot with an extensive property at Staghorn Flat selling last year for more than $10 million.
