Grills and Morton will join Jake Gaynor and Brayden O'Hara (Wagga Tigers), Elliott Powell and Joel Mackie (Osborne) and Riley Bice (Narrandera) in the competition.
The number of matches Grills plays will depend on his polocrosse commitments while Morton returns to his home club after originally planning to play for Geelong and District league club Grovedale.
"It will be good to get over and have a look at the league," Grills said.
"I don't know much about it but I've heard Wagga is a good club, so it will be good to get over there and play at those boys' local club and help 'Jakey' (Jake Gaynor) and 'Drisco' (Shaun Driscoll) out a bit and their club."
Morton's last game for Wagga Tigers was the 2016 premiership win.
"I'm rapt," Morton said.
"I've come home and watched a few games every year and every time I do I get itchy feet to play for Wagga Tigers.
"There is a few hoops I had to jump through, given I could be in Geelong quite a bit of the year but every chance I get, I'd love to come back and play."
Albury co-coach Luke Daly is set to play with Farrer league club The Rock-Yerong Creek.
Meanwhile, Osborne premiership player Sam Rutland has returned to the club from the Gippsland league.
Culcairn's James Pitson has applied for a permit to join Temora.
