The Henty pair were set to play for Williamstown before last week's spike in coronavirus cases in Melbourne forced the Victorian Government to lockdown suburbs.
The Murrays played junior football for Ganmain before moving to Henty in 2010 and would be one-pointers.
"I was supposed to go back to Melbourne from Henty today but Brooklyn has been shut down," Nick said.
"The club is trying to find me a place but with the cases going up in Victoria it's hard to say what is going to happen.
"If the VFL gets cancelled we will play for Ganmain.
Nan and Pop are still in Ganmain as well so they would love it if we came back for the rest of the season
- Nick Murray
"We played under 12s and 14s at Ganmain so it would be good if things didn't work in Melbourne.
"Nan and Pop are still in Ganmain as well so they would love it if we came back for the rest of the season.
"We're keen to play."
Wodonga Raiders forward Connor Newnham has also joined Ganmain after having family ties at the Riverina league club.
The VFL had planned to start on August 1 with a seven-round home and away season but that not appears extremely doubtful.
Sam is presently living in Melbourne.
Meanwhile, Albury recruits Jacob and Lucas Conlan will return home to Griffith.
Jacob won the Riverina league goalkicking last season with 66 majors while Lucas was also prominent 29 goals.
Play starts on July 18.
