With clubs on both sides of the border, the NSW shutout, in place from today, has left the association no choice but to hit the pause button yet again.
Hockey Albury-Wodonga sport operations manager Cayte Campbell confirmed the season won't officially resume until the border is opened again.

"We don't know what it means for Hockey Albury-Wodonga just yet," Campbell said.
However, the start of the Albury-Wodonga Spitfires Capital League campaign this weekend is set to go ahead as planned for now.
The Spitfires are scheduled to travel to Canberra on Saturday to take on ANU, but may not have access to players based in Victoria.
We don't know what it means for Hockey Albury-Wodonga just yet.

Fortunately, an issue regarding social distancing with travel to and from Canberra has been cleared up.
"Service NSW has confirmed we can put 20 people on a 22-seater bus," Campbell said.
Hockey Albury-Wodonga officials are meeting with club leaders on Tuesday night to discuss what happens next.
Senior hockey can not yet commence in Victoria.
