A Wodonga man who allegedly stole close to $200,000 worth of equipment from a business will remain in custody.

Anthony James Carroll, faced court on Thursday after allegedly targeting Wodonga Sand and Soil on April 16.
Charge sheets allege drilling equipment, including a $50,000 tracking system, $50,000 Falcon F5 drilling tracker, $45,000 Ditch Witch tracking and drilling system and $20,000 worth of assorted tools were taken.
A Toyota HiLux worth about $12,000 was stolen, and Carroll allegedly targeted multiple vehicles in the yard in a bid to steal the property inside.
He allegedly damaged fences at the nearby racecourse on April 11 or 12 and stole a Nissan Navara the same night.
It's alleged the value of the thefts, damage, and a trespassing incident near Geelong, totalled $199,500.
Police and the business owner had appealed for information after the incident and said multiple people were involved.

Detectives applied for an arrest warrant on May 1 in the belief Carroll was avoiding police, and he was arrested by Albury officers.
He faced the Wodonga Magistrates Court in prison greens on Thursday morning during a brief appearance on a video link from custody.
The court heard he had multiple matters, some in the lower court stream, others in the committal stream.
He represented himself, but prosecutor Thomas Crouch said it would be "highly desirable" for him to get a lawyer.
Carroll did not apply for bail.
Magistrate Ian Watkins adjourned the matter to August 13.
Carroll still has a string of other matters pending in Albury Local Court.
