The three-time cup and two-time league winning coach and club president is relocating to Queensland.
Park came to the club in 2015 after seven years as a professional in Scotland with Hearts and East Fife.
The former Australian representative was also part of Ange Postecoglou's squad for the 2005 Under-17 World Cup, before landing on Myrtleford's doorstep.
Park moved from Melbourne to Beechworth before the 2015 season and wasn't sure he even wanted to play, but gave the Savoys a chance and never looked back.
He captured the AWFA Star Player award in his second season in the league in 2016 - the same year he teamed up to coach with Jayden Vescio and deliver the club its very first cup victory in the competition.
It was the start of the club's most successful period in the AWFA, with Myrtleford claiming the league-cup double in 2017 and 2018, before reaching a fifth successive cup final last year and falling to Wangaratta.
Park's partner lives on the Sunshine Coast and he's keen for a fresh start.

"It was obviously a big decision, it's been something I've been going to and from for the last three or four months with everything going on," Park said.
"It's been an amazing five years. I've got a house here I'm going to rent out so I've still got that connection here if I want to move back.
"Jayden and I have done everything together over the last five years and I'll still keep in touch with all the boys.
"I'd like to think they're in a better position now than when I first came to the club and hopefully they can continue that.
"They've got a really good base of players there that can compete in the top two or three if they all stay together."
Former president Zac Mirt was glowing his in praise of Park and knew he was something special.
"When Matt arrived at Savoy Park on a Tuesday night, it was evident from that night he was going to be part of the club for a while and he always will be," Mirt said.
"He brought that sense of professionalism we needed to take us from where we were through the mid-2000s to achieve what we have now.
"The big thing is it's never been about Matt, it's always been about the game.
You don't find many people that love that game as much as Matt and put everything aside for it."
Park won't officially move for at least six weeks with restrictions on Victorians entering Queensland in place.
"I might rock up at another club and see if I can get another fairytale (laughs)," Park added.
