Before heading to Wagga, a group of 12 defence force personnel visited the Crossroads Hotel in Casula, Sydney last Thursday which has been linked to multiple cases of COVID-19 over the past 10 days, with hundreds of attendees now in precautionary self-isolation.
A defence force spokesperson said the group attended the pub on July 9 and went into isolation the following day after NSW Health confirmed two cases were linked to the venue.

They have been in isolation since Friday awaiting the results of coronavirus tests, and will continue to isolate for 14 days regardless of test results.
The rest of the RAAF base is not currently in lockdown.
Yesterday, NSW chief health officer Kerry Chant said everyone who had visited the hotel from July 3 until its closure on July 10 should self-isolate for 14 days from the time of their visit after an 18-year-old staff member became the third person to test positive for the virus after attending the hotel.
