Murrumbidgee Local Health District was advised Tuesday afternoon the person had not attended any other venues in the region.
"The public health unit investigating this case informed MLHD that contact tracing identified the person had lunch at Cafe Borellas on June 30 and was on the premises for approximately 45 minutes," the health service said in a statement on Wednesday morning.
"The cafe has provided a list of patrons who visited on this day and all persons whose details have been recorded will be contacted."
Murrumbidgee Local Health District said Cafe Borellas had a COVID-19 business safety plan in place that helped minimise the risk to patrons.
Anyone who visited the cafe on this day and is concerned can be tested for COVID-19 at the Albury mobile clinic, at Albury showgrounds, entry via Fallon Street, open daily 9am to 4.30pm.
Appointments available on the COVID-19 hotline 1800 831 099 and walk-ins also welcome.
EARLIER: Murrumbidgee Local Health District has warned residents that someone infected with COVID-19 dined at Cafe Borellas, Albury, at lunchtime on June 30.
MLHD issued an alert to residents on Tuesday evening and said good COVID-Safe practices were in place at the cafe.
"As 14 days have passed since this time, anyone who may have been exposed to this man, and contracted COVID19, would be symptomatic by now," the statement said.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"Due to the good social distancing protocols practiced at this cafe, people who attended at this time are considered casual contacts and should monitor for symptoms."
Anyone who dined at the cafe on the 30th who wishes to be tested for COVID can contact the MLHD COVID testing hotline on 1800 831 099 to be booked into the Albury testing clinic at the Albury Showgrounds.
