Snow season, Victorian alpine resorts, Saturday, July 18, and Sunday, July 19
Mount Buller resort is open for skiing and boarding daily, and snow experiences. Falls Creek offers cross-country skiing, ski touring, tobogganing and snow play. Mount Hotham is open for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, tobogganing, snow play and the Alpine Nature Experience. Mt Baw Baw is open for skiing, boarding and tobogganing on weekends. Mount Stirling is open for sightseeing, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, tobogganing and snow play. Dinner Plain has repurposed its ski run into a groomed 75-metre toboggan run.

The Sound will celebrate the movers and shakers across the Australian music industry. Hosts of the six-part series - music aficionado Jane Gazzo and Double J's Zan Rowe - will talk music news and focus on live performances. The premiere will feature Mark Seymour and the Undertow, Kate Ceberano, Steve Kilbey, Sean Sennett, Eskimo Joe, DMA's, BENEE and Nick Cave.

PHOTO FINISH
Burke Museum has launched an online collection of photographs. A total of 50 photographs form part of a new project, which is now available on the Victorian Collections website. They are in an album of streetscape images from the 19th and 20th centuries.
