While Group 9 club Albury Thunder isn't playing in the senior competition due to COVID-19 fears, the juniors returned on Saturday.
"We had a fantastic day, we had great participation and the kids had a great time and we, as a club, understand the importance of the physical and mental wellbeing of our kids, that's why we've pushed on with the season for as long as we can," Albury Thunder Junior Rugby League president Scott Harris said.

The club was excluded from Group 9 over COVID, but had permission from the NSW Government to play.
