Trinity Anglican College has revealed all students and teachers will be able to cross the border to attend school, after a successful bid to amend the public health order.

In a letter to parents principal Justin Beckett said the significant changes were achieved after joint lobbying from member for Albury Justin Clancy and NSW Education Minister Sarah Mitchell.
"Together they worked determinedly to persuade the government that no border student be denied the opportunity to attend school," Mr Beckett said.
"It is a great outcome for the school students of Albury-Wodonga and the Border region generally."

Mr Beckett told parents the public health order would now allow all Trinity students and staff to attend classes.
"The Public Health Order of Monday 20 July states that any student of a NSW day school who ordinarily lives in Victoria is able to acquire a border permit to attend school," he said.
"Parents or guardians of school students are also able to acquire a border permit, although conditions apply about the transportation of students across the border.
"The new policy also allows all staff members to attend school, even if they live more than 50 kilometres from the border."
He said the following conditions apply for students and parents travelling into NSW as a Day School Visitor:
- The day school visitor must travel by the most practicable direct route between their place of residence and the school.
- The day school visitor must comply with any directions about attendance at school issued by the Secretary of the NSW Department of Education and Training.
- If the day school visitor is ordinarily resident in Victoria, the visitor must not enter New South Wales if the visitor has, within the previous 14 days, been in an area that is a restricted area in accordance with an Area Direction made under the Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008 of Victoria.
- If the day school visitor is ordinarily resident in New South Wales, the visitor must self-isolate if the visitor returns to New South Wales and has, within the previous 14 days, been in an area that is a restricted area in accordance with an Area Direction made under the Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008 of Victoria
