The group targeted his property about 4am on Thursday, using a roller door button in a Holden Trailblazer to get inside and access keys.
The victim said the group was organised and wouldn't have been in his house for more than 15 seconds.
"By the time I got out of my bedroom, they were already down the road," he said.
"It was like a bad dream.
"I was wondering what the hell was going on."

The car was still missing on Thursday afternoon.
Police told the Thurgoona man - whose home and car were locked - a teenage gang had been targeting properties and stealing cars.
The incident is believed to have followed a break-in attempt at East Albury a short time earlier.
"It would appear at this time that there are a number of persons getting around stealing property," Acting Inspector Troy Martin said last Thursday.
