A number of clubs staged practice matches including the Wodonga and Wodonga Raiders' under-12 at Birallee Park yesterday.
Wodonga junior football club secretary Kathryn Dalton said it was priceless to see the joy again on kids faces playing the game they love.

"As a club we surveyed our membership which was 95 per cent in support of arranging some of practice matches.
"Just to get the kids back and enjoying their footy again.
"We want all our kids to come back and play again next year and not be lost to the sport.
"The plan is to have a couple of more practice matches between the two clubs over the next month, so the kids stay connected to the club."
