Police have reminded people to isolate after undergoing COVID-19 tests after a woman attended a Bright supermarket on Monday morning.

The local resident had been tested in Melbourne but attended the town's Woolworths before she received her results back.
Senior Sergeant Doug Incoll said she had no symptoms and the risk to staff and shoppers was low.
Police attended the supermarket and spoke to the woman and employees.

"The message is, if you get tested regardless of whether you have symptoms, you need to remain in isolation unless the results come negative," he said.
"People are encouraged to get tested but they do need to isolate.
"This is certainly not going to go away until everyone follows the rules and practices hygiene, social distancing and other requirements.
"The more people do that, the quicker we will overcome this."
