Donna said it was both an emotional and proud moment for her.
"It was a huge thrill to see Danielle get the job done," Donna said.
"We have been waiting for a while for this moment.
"I'm guessing she has had about a dozen rides for me.
"It's a good reward for all the hard work she puts in."
Despite being her daughter, Donna said it doesn't guarantee Danielle rides for the stable.
"Danielle does the book work at home and knows how much money comes in and goes out," Donna said.
"So if a senior rider is a better option, Danielle is happy to sit aside because she is aware how competitive racing is.
"I'm proud of what she has been able to achieve since she made a comeback and she deserves the success."
